These terms govern your use of My Fis Points (the "app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
My Fis Points is an independent, third-party app built to help athletes, parents, coaches, and techs track FIS points and race results. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to the Fédération Internationale de Ski (FIS) or fis-ski.com in any way. "FIS" and related marks are the property of their respective owners.
My Fis Points lets you track alpine ski race results, view FIS points averages, import publicly available results from fis-ski.com, follow live race times, and view a points estimate when available. Estimates and imported data are provided for informational purposes only and are not official scores, rankings, or results. Always refer to official FIS sources for anything requiring verified accuracy, such as qualification or ranking decisions.
Points and projections shown in My Fis Points are estimates computed from publicly available race data — they are not official FIS results, rankings, or qualification determinations. This is true of any tool computing FIS points independently, including FIS's own live timing feed, which can itself lag or contain errors during an active race. If a decision depends on exact, verified points or results — seeding, qualification, award eligibility — always confirm against official FIS documentation, not any live or estimated source, including this app.
My Fis Points does not maintain its own copy of FIS's points list or athlete database. Athlete results and points are looked up individually, on demand, when you add an athlete to your roster or view their profile — not through bulk download or reproduction of FIS's records. Live race views display the full public field for the race being watched, matching what's publicly visible on FIS's own live timing pages; this data is not stored beyond what's needed to display the live view.
Point Grabber and any similar calculator on this site let you manually enter race times and points to estimate a result. These tools perform no validation on what you enter — the result is only as accurate as the data you provide, and a mistyped time or point value will produce an incorrect result without warning. These calculators are not connected to your My Fis Points account, store nothing, and are provided for quick, informal estimates only. Treat any result as provisional and verify anything consequential against official FIS sources.
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your profile. My Fis Points lets you add up to 20 athletes to your roster to track their points and results — if you add someone other than yourself, you're responsible for having their (or their guardian's) awareness that you're doing so, and for only entering publicly available FIS profile information about them. You may not use the app to access another user's account or data without authorization.
You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to access other users' accounts or data, disrupting the service, or using the app for any unlawful purpose.
We make reasonable efforts to accurately import and display data from fis-ski.com, but we don't guarantee its completeness or accuracy, since it depends on a third-party source outside our control. Live race times and points estimates are provided as available and may differ from official results.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Errors can occur for reasons outside our control or despite our best efforts — including changes to FIS's data formats or calculation rules, interruptions or inaccuracies in FIS's live timing feed, and mistakes in our own software. When that happens, points, penalties, and results shown in the app may be wrong until the issue is identified and corrected.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Fis Points and its developer are not liable for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of the app or reliance on any points, penalty, or result it shows or calculates, including missed deadlines, incorrect race entries, or decisions made based on projected or estimated points that differ from official results. You're responsible for verifying anything time-sensitive or consequential against official FIS sources before relying on it.
You may stop using the app and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
