Manual FIS calculator

Point Grabber

Estimate alpine FIS race points and the applied penalty for a race that isn’t on the official list yet. Same public formulas as the My Fis Points app. Nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere.

Unofficial estimate — verify before relying on it. This calculator uses publicly available FIS formulas but performs no validation on what you enter. A mistyped time or point value will produce a wrong result. Not affiliated with or endorsed by FIS. See our Terms for details.

Race points + applied penalty

Unofficial estimate. Errors can occur — verify against official FIS results before relying on this number.

1. Race setup

Pick the discipline and the tournament category so F and the penalty floor match the race.

For SL/GS, enter total time across both runs.

2. Race points

Target athlete vs the winner. Race points = ((athlete time ÷ winning time) − 1) × F.

3. Penalty calculator

Penalty = ((A + B − C) ÷ 10), then clipped to this category’s min/max. You choose the five athletes — the tool does not look anyone up.

Top 5 of the top-10 finishers (A and C)

The five lowest FIS list-point athletes among the first ten classified. Times compute each athlete’s own race points (C) against the same winning time.

A C

Top 5 of the starting lineup by FIS points (B)

The five lowest FIS list-point athletes who started — not the first five on the start list. Times are not used here.
