My Fis Points ("we," "our," "the app") is an iOS app for alpine ski racing athletes to track FIS points, season results, and live race projections. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.

Information We Collect

When you create an account and use My Fis Points, we collect:

• Account information: your email address and password (used for sign-in via our authentication provider, Supabase).
• Profile information: your display name, FIS Code, and FIS biography profile URL, if you provide them. We use these to look up an athlete's public race results and points.
• Self-reported role: an optional description of how you use the app (e.g. athlete, parent, coach, tech), stored for our own understanding of how the app is used. This never restricts what you can do in the app.
• Race and points data: race results and FIS points you enter manually or import from publicly available results on fis-ski.com.
• Athlete roster data: My Fis Points lets any account track up to 20 athletes. For each athlete you add, we store the name and FIS profile information you provide for them. If you're tracking someone other than yourself, you're responsible for having their (or their guardian's) awareness that you're doing so — please only add publicly available FIS profile information, not private details about someone else.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above only to operate the app itself: to authenticate your account, sync and display race results and points, and power features like live race tracking and athlete comparison. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with data brokers or third-party marketing partners.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Supabase, a backend infrastructure provider, with access controls scoping each account's data to that account only. Race and roster data are not shared between accounts, even if two accounts reference the same FIS athlete.

Third-Party Data

My Fis Points imports publicly available race results from fis-ski.com, operated by the Fédération Internationale de Ski (FIS). My Fis Points is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to FIS. We are not responsible for the accuracy of data sourced from fis-ski.com.

My Fis Points does not download or store FIS's full points list or athlete database. When you add an athlete or view their results, we look up that specific athlete's public profile at that moment — the same way you could by visiting fis-ski.com directly. Live race views show the full public field for whichever race you're watching (the same data anyone can see on FIS's own live timing page), but we don't retain or reuse that field data beyond the session.

Your Choices

You can update or delete your profile and roster information within the app. To request full deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the details below.

Children's Privacy

My Fis Points is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
